Information We Collect from Unregistered Visitors
You must register to access all of the features and programs provided through altuscampus.com but visitors to altuscampus.com can access the home pages and browse program catalogs without disclosing any personally identifiable information. However, altuscampus.com can access user metrics with non-personal information (i.e., information that is not traced back to any individual and is not used on its own to identify an individual) provided to us by your browser when you visit one of this site, even if you have not registered. This non-personal information may include the referring site, the type of browser used, and the time and date the site was accessed.
Information We Collect When You Register
When you register for access to altuscampus.com, you are asked to provide brief identifying information such as your name, e-mail address, zip code, and other professional information (e.g., specialty). You will also be given a choice about whether or not you want to receive newsletters and other information sent to registered members from time to time. However, AltusCampus, Inc. and/or course accreditors may contact any enrolled user with regard to individual courses in which he/she is enrolled, the status of credits earned, and site updates or changes.
Continuing Medical Education
When you register for a continuing medical education (CME) or a continuing education (CE) activity through altuscampus.com, you will be asked to supply additional personally identifiable information, such as your name and mailing address. For certain accredited programs, types of credit, or specific accrediting institutions, you may be asked to provide additional information required in order to grant credit. This information may include the state in which you are licensed and your license number. This additional information is used expressly for the purpose of granting credit for the completion of CME or CE activities and is only shared with the appropriate accrediting institutions.
In addition to personally identifiable information, altuscampus.com will also tabulate aggregated non-personal information about the activities undertaken by users of the site. This aggregate information is shared with the related sponsors, medical education companies, and commercial supporters of specific CME and CE activities hosted on altuscampus.com. This aggregate information may include: total number of participants, percentage of participants by specialty, total number of credit certificates claimed, total percentage of users who answered correctly or incorrectly to each posttest question, and responses to program evaluation surveys.
The staff of altuscampus.com and AltusCampus, Inc. will have access to files containing both aggregate and personally identifiable information. This information may be used to provide customer service or respond to learner inquiries of their own records. The staff of altuscampus.com and AltusCampus, Inc. may also reference personally identifiable information, including registration information and evaluation data, in assessing future educational needs and in evaluating existing educational activities.

Uses and Disclosures of Information
The personally identifiable information that you provide to altuscampus.com in connection with the site and educational activities accessed will be used to provide the services you have requested or authorized.
altuscampus.com and AltusCampus, Inc. create aggregate data about visitors to the altuscampus.com site to guide future site development and improvement. Aggregate data is also used for market analysis, assessment of market gaps, and tracking of the use of the site by different specialty users. Without disclosing any personally identifiable data, AltusCampus, Inc. may share aggregate data with medical education companies, program sponsors, and commercial supports to demonstrate the use of the site and individual educational activities. For example, we may document the percentage of registered users who are interested in CME vs. CE credit programs, or which percentage of registered users are in a clinical specialty. Any such data provided is stripped of any individually identifiable information before it is shared. For example, a medical education company interested in hosting an educational activity on the site might want data on the number of radiologists registered for CME programs. No personally identifiable information will be shared in this manner.

altuscampus.com and AltusCampus, Inc. may develop advertising and marketing messages based on your registration data. You may also see different programs as educational activities you may be interested in based on your registration data or your history of completed educational programs through altuscampus.com.
In addition to aggregate information (as noted above), there may be a few instances in which altuscampus.com or AltusCampus, Inc. may share some kinds of personally identifiable information with third parties. However, no registered user contact information, user profile data, or any other user information will ever be sold, rented, or provided to any Third Party for advertising purposes outside of any announcement of educational course offerings.
We may release account and other personally identifiable information in circumstances that require such release if it is: 1)
